About The Position
Dolan Auto Group is hiring a full-time Service Greeter at its Dodge location in Reno, Nevada. The Service Greeter welcomes customers, gathers information about their vehicle, scans the vehicle identification number (VIN) barcode using an iPad, and introduces each customer to a Service Advisor who can assist with their vehicle’s care. The role includes reviewing service history, inspecting vehicles, identifying additional service needs, and supporting communication with the service department. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Team-oriented approach with a focus on exemplary customer service.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements, including squatting, twisting, kneeling, bending, stooping, fast-paced walking, and light jogging when necessary.
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to work with exposure to weather and extreme temperature ranges.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and in a friendly manner, and obtain vehicle information.
- Scan the vehicle VIN barcode with an iPad to upload the vehicle into the company system.
- Introduce customers to a Service Advisor.
- Refer to service history, inspect vehicles, and recommend additional needed service.
- Notify the dispatcher of incoming work.
- Contact extended warranties.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction standards.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Keep the work area clean.
