About The Position

Dolan Auto Group is seeking a Lot Attendant for its Toyota dealership in Reno, Nevada. The role verifies receipt of incoming new vehicles, inspects them for damage and listed accessories, and parks and organizes vehicles on the lot. The attendant also handles vehicle keys and stock numbers, moves sold vehicles, delivers them to the preparation department, and services vehicles in storage to help protect their tires, batteries, and finish.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements, including squatting, twisting, kneeling, bending, stooping, fast-paced walking, and light jogging when necessary.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to work outdoors in weather with extreme temperature ranges.

Responsibilities

• Compare serial numbers of incoming cars against the invoice.
• Inspect vehicles for damage and verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice.
• Record descriptions of damage and list missing items on the delivery receipt.
• Park new vehicles in assigned areas.
• Catalog and store keys.
• Assign stock control numbers to cars.
• Move sold vehicles to maximize space and keep the lot in order.
• Deliver sold vehicles to the new-vehicle preparation department.
• Service vehicles in storage to protect their tires, batteries, and finish against deterioration.
