About The Position

ELCO Chevrolet Cadillac is seeking a full- or part-time Service Valet to work in the service drive at its Ballwin, Missouri location. Service Valets greet customers, thank them for their business, transport and care for vehicles on the dealership lot, and perform other assigned duties. Porters/Valets are members of the Local 618 Teamsters Union; monthly dues and a one-time initiation fee are required.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, either 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. or, for part-time work, 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
• No drug- or alcohol-related conviction, including DUI/DWI, on the driving record in the past three years.
• Willingness to take a pre-employment drug screening test.
• At least 17 years old and at least a high school senior.
• Ability to lift at least 30 pounds and tolerate prolonged standing and walking.
• Authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future work-authorization sponsorship from the company.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., or part-time from 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and thank them for their business in an outgoing and enthusiastic manner.
• Clean vehicle exteriors by hand, with a brush, or by operating washing equipment.
• Safely transport vehicles on the dealership lot.
• Inspect incoming vehicles for prior damage.
• May assist with local automobile deliveries.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
