About The Position

ELCO Chevrolet Cadillac is seeking a full- or part-time Service Valet to work in its service drive in Ballwin, Missouri. The role involves greeting and thanking customers, transporting and caring for vehicles on the dealership lot, and assisting with other duties as assigned. Service Valets are members of the Local 618 Teamsters Union; monthly dues and a one-time initiation fee are required.

Requirements

• Have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
• Have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction, including DUI/DWI, on the driving record in the past three years.
• Be willing to take a pre-employment drug screening test.
• Be at least 17 years old and at least a high school senior.
• Be able to lift at least 30 pounds and stand and walk for prolonged periods.
• Be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship from the company now or in the future.
• Demonstrate customer service skills.
• Be able to work Monday through Friday, either 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. or part-time 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and thank them for their business with an outgoing and enthusiastic attitude.
• Clean vehicle exteriors by hand, with a brush, or by operating washing equipment.
• Safely transport vehicles on the dealership lot.
• Inspect incoming vehicles for prior damage.
• Assist with local automobile deliveries when needed.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
