About The Position

GMC Danvers is hiring a part-time Valet / Lot Attendant for its service department. The role supports customers and dealership service operations by helping with vehicle drop-offs, moving and parking vehicles, coordinating transitions with service staff, and preparing vehicles after service. It also includes customer transportation to and from the dealership when needed. The schedule varies and is 15–20 hours per week; pay is $15 per hour.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally and assist with vehicle drop-offs, providing a positive experience from arrival through departure.
• Safely drive customer vehicles to designated areas within the dealership or service lot and follow safety protocols.
• Coordinate with service advisors and technicians to support smooth vehicle transitions and timely service delivery.
• Keep the service parking lot organized and ensure vehicles are properly parked and accessible.
• Pick up and deliver vehicles to customers as required.
• Detail, wash, vacuum, and top off fuel in customer vehicles after service as needed.
• Transport customers to and from the dealership while their vehicles are being serviced, as needed.
