Service Technician - Class B
About The Position
Toyota of Downtown LA is hiring a Level B Service Technician for its service department. The technician diagnoses and repairs vehicles to manufacturer standards, performs advanced mechanical, electrical, drivability, and diagnostic repairs, and completes maintenance services. The role includes communicating repair recommendations and vehicle status to service advisors while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards. The position offers hourly/flat-rate pay of $18.42–$48.50, depending on experience and other job-related factors. The department operates Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.; it is closed Sunday. Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional automotive technician experience.
- Diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
- Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in the state of residence.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Toyota dealership operations is preferred.
- ASE certifications are an advantage.
- Toyota certifications are an advantage.
