Henderson Hyundai is hiring a Class B Service Technician to diagnose and repair a range of automotive issues, including electrical faults, check-engine lights, engine performance, suspension, steering, brakes, air conditioning, complex drivability concerns, and issues involving advanced diagnostics, electric vehicles, and hybrids. The role is intended for an experienced technician who can identify underlying problems and deliver quality repairs rather than simply replace parts. Technicians can work without micromanagement and have access to modern diagnostic equipment and tools, consistent workflow, supportive management, career growth opportunities, and a professional team environment. Flexible shifts and hours are available at all levels. Compensation is listed as “$208-38 per flat rate hour,” with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified hires; applicants should see the dealership for details. The technician performs work described on repair orders efficiently and accurately, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards and applicable safety requirements. The role includes diagnosing malfunctions, road-testing vehicles to verify repairs, recording repair time using company procedures, and documenting work and test procedures or results. Applicants must be high school graduates or equivalent, at least 18 years old, have five or more years of automotive repair experience, possess a valid driver's license in their state of residence, and have an acceptable driving record. Strong diagnostic skills, particularly in electrical and drivability work, are sought. ASE certifications are an added bonus. The employer is a drug-free workplace and provides reasonable accommodations to enable individuals to perform essential functions.
