About The Position

Toyota of Downtown LA is hiring a Class B Service Technician for its high-volume service department. The technician diagnoses and repairs vehicles to manufacturer standards, completes maintenance services, and communicates repair recommendations and vehicle status to service advisors. The role involves advanced mechanical, electrical, drivability, and diagnostic repairs while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards.

The department operates Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.; it is closed Sunday. The stated flat-rate pay range is $18.42–$48.50 per hour, with actual compensation depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional automotive technician experience.
• Diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to maintain high productivity while delivering quality flat-rate hours.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in the state of residence.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
