Service Technician - Class B
About The Position
Rock Honda is hiring a full-time Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in a high-volume service department. The role performs repairs according to manufacturer standards, communicates repair recommendations and vehicle status to service advisors, and works with technicians and service staff to maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards. The position offers a flat-rate pay range of $16.90–$50.00 per hour, depending on level, skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. It may also be eligible for short- and/or long-term incentives, including bonuses based on production productivity. Department hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The employer describes ongoing training and professional development, advancement opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package. Requirements
- At least 1 year of previous automotive service technician experience.
- Diagnostic and repair skills.
- Ability to succeed in a busy automotive shop while working collaboratively with technicians and service staff.
- Valid driver's license in the state of residence and an acceptable driving record.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- At least 18 years old.
