About The Position

The Service Technician evaluates customer needs, designs and installs security systems, and educates customers on how to use their systems. The role involves visiting customers at their homes or businesses to provide solutions, working closely with customers and coworkers in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Work with customers to determine the optimal system and equipment for their needs.
Install equipment and test its operation, functionality, and signal reception to establish service.
Evaluate customer-provided information and work with customers to develop the best solution for their location.
Identify opportunities to improve the use and functionality of customers’ systems and recommend improvements.
Follow safety practices to prevent injuries and property damage.
Prevent loss of unused materials, ladders, and tools at job sites or office locations.
Collect debris, patch holes, and clean the site, leaving it as nice as or better than it was before work began.
Perform other duties needed to support the company’s vision, mission, and values.
Visit customers at their homes or businesses and work collaboratively with customers and coworkers.
