About The Position

SPATCO Energy Solutions is hiring an experienced Service Tech to support customers in the Miami, Florida area. The company provides construction, installation, maintenance, environmental compliance, equipment, parts, and expertise for fueling and charging needs. The technician will work with branch managers, dispatchers, other experienced technicians, and trainees. The role includes updated training and certifications, and may involve working alongside a trainee to support their training. This position does not follow a typical 8–5 schedule; hours may vary based on workload and customer needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Valid state-issued driver’s license and good driving record.
At least 2 years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining gasoline dispensing units, including dispenser hydraulics and submerged pump units.
Valid dispenser certification(s).
Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather.
Ability to travel locally on a daily basis.
Ability to lift 50–75 lbs.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair gasoline dispensing units, including Gilbarco, Dresser Wayne, Gasboy, and Bennett equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair electronic point-of-sale (POS) systems, including VeriFone, Gilbarco, and NCR equipment.
Install, program, and test new petroleum equipment.
Analyze electrical and mechanical problems and perform repairs as required.
Perform scheduled repairs and preventative maintenance on fueling systems.
Communicate with customers and explain technical issues in non-technical terms.
Work alongside trainees from time to time to assist with their training and certifications.
