This entry-level position provides training to advance your career as a service technician. You will be trained and certified to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on customers’ petroleum equipment. Training sessions may be outside your local area; the company pays for training, lodging, and meals. Hours may vary, but you will work at least 40 hours per week, with overtime. Most service calls are completed during the day shift. After training, you will join an on-call rotation. Service calls may take place at retail gas stations, commercial locations, hospitals, travel stops, and government facilities. The role includes troubleshooting, repairing, installing, programming, and testing petroleum equipment and point-of-sale systems, as well as maintaining fueling systems.
