About The Position
The Service Quotes Specialist reviews fire protection inspection reports, identifies deficiencies, and prepares quotations for timely, cost-effective repair solutions for National Accounts customers. The role analyzes customer requirements and specifications, prepares tailored pricing, and submits quotes for inspection deficiencies and repairs. It also responds to customer questions and works with project managers to explain recommended repairs and address customer-specific pricing needs. The position maintains detailed records of quotations, pricing agreements, and contracts, and ensures quotes comply with company pricing, margin, and discount policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Read and verify inspection failure reports.
- Review inspection reports and analyze customer requirements and specifications to prepare tailored pricing quotations.
- Create and submit inspection deficiency and repair quotes.
- Ensure quotes comply with company pricing guidelines, margins, and discount policies.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding pricing, product details, and lead times.
- Collaborate with project managers to present and explain necessary repairs and deficiencies and address customer-specific pricing needs.
- Maintain detailed records of quotations, pricing agreements, and contracts.
