About The Position

Bud Clary Auto Group is hiring a Service Lot Attendant to support the Service departments at its Longview Ford/Hyundai location. The role involves maintaining vehicles to dealership standards, keeping the automobile inventory neat and well maintained, and moving vehicles to designated locations. Driving is an essential function, and employees must maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record consistent with company insurance standards. Weekends may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles for damage and verify that accessories listed on invoices are present.
• Record damage descriptions and list missing items on delivery receipts.
• Park new vehicles in assigned areas.
• Catalog and store keys.
• Move sold vehicles to make efficient use of space and keep the lot orderly.
• Deliver sold vehicles to the new-vehicle preparation department.
• Wash vehicle exteriors using appropriate cleaning solutions and equipment.
• Vacuum vehicle interiors while taking care not to disturb customers’ personal items.
• Park clean vehicles in the designated delivery area.
• Keep the dealership lot presentable, including picking up garbage.
• Prepare new vehicles for pre-delivery inspection (PDI).
• Fuel sold vehicles and trade-ins.
• Work as a team player, communicate effectively, and perform other duties as assigned.
