About The Position

The Service Lot Attendant maintains an organized, clean, and visually appealing dealership lot, assists with vehicle presentation, and ensures inventory is readily available for service. The role supports service operations and contributes to the customer experience. Duties also include greeting customers, managing vehicle keys, transporting vehicles, helping with customer deliveries, and coordinating vehicle transfers between dealership locations. Regular and predictable attendance is required; other tasks may be assigned.

Requirements

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Valid, unrestricted driver's license.
Basic understanding of automotive operations.
Ability to operate both manual and automatic vehicles.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Ability to stand, walk, and move around the dealership lot for extended periods.
Capable of performing essential job functions with reasonable accommodations.
Employment requires a background check.

Responsibilities

Arrange and maintain service vehicle inventory so the lot is orderly and visually appealing.
Monitor lot cleanliness, remove litter, and ensure vehicles are parked properly.
Inspect vehicles for damage, cleanliness, and fuel levels, and report issues to the Service Manager.
Locate and position vehicles for the service department throughout the day.
Greet customers and direct them to appropriate service staff.
Manage vehicle keys, including maintaining their security and logging them.
Transport vehicles between locations as required.
Assist with customer deliveries, including basic vehicle walk-throughs.
Support coordination of vehicle transfers between dealership locations.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
