About The Position

Findlay is seeking a Service Porter / Lot Attendant to support dealership operations and manage vehicle movement. The role involves transporting vehicles between service areas and the lot, assisting with vehicle flow as service tickets are generated, providing customer courtesy washes, inspecting vehicles, documenting damage or missing items, and protecting vehicles while they are in storage. The position requires working outdoors in all types of weather and being able to bend, kneel, walk, or stand for extended periods.

Requirements

• Able to operate both automatic and manual transmissions.
• Enthusiastic and friendly.
• At least 18 years old.
• Current, valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to bend, kneel, walk, or stand for long periods in all types of weather.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles to and from service areas and the lot as needed.
• Assist with vehicle flow within the dealership as service tickets are generated.
• Provide customer courtesy washes as requested.
• Inspect vehicles for damage and verify accessories listed on the invoice are present.
• Record descriptions of damage and list missing items on the delivery receipt.
• Service vehicles in storage to protect tires, battery, and finish against deterioration.
