About The Position

The Lot Porter helps ensure customer satisfaction by keeping vehicles and the dealership lot clean and organized. The role oversees vehicle deliveries to the dealership, arranges vehicles on delivery and after sales to make effective use of lot space, and services vehicles to protect them from deterioration and maintain their appearance. The position calls for a high-energy, customer-focused person who can work in a fast-paced environment, drive manual and automatic vehicles, and maneuver safely in tight spaces. Requirements

Have an unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record.
Be able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces.
Be professional and dependable.
Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Have basic computer and internet skills.
Have strong communication, customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

Ability to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles.

Responsibilities

Inspect delivered vehicles for damage, assign stock control numbers, and catalog and store keys.
Service vehicles with gas, oil, and water.
Move sold vehicles to maximize space and keep the lot organized.
Deliver sold vehicles.
Ensure required documentation is complete and complies with regulations and standards.
Help maintain the lot's appearance by cleaning driveways and sidewalks and removing snow and debris as needed.
Follow all safety and security procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
