About The Position

Price Family Dealerships is seeking a Lot Porter to perform regular non-mechanical maintenance, move vehicles, and complete other duties assigned by the manager safely and promptly. The Lot Porter supports the Sales and Service Departments by maintaining new and used car lots and transporting vehicles to appropriate departments for service and inventory control. The position is headquartered in Marin County, California, and may require travel to other locations as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and safely work with a team to lift and maneuver items weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for long periods without resting.
• Ability to perform routine kneeling, crouching, or crawling.

Nice To Haves

• One to three years of porter experience.

Responsibilities

• Park vehicles according to policy and Sales Department direction so the lot is attractive to potential buyers.
• Clean and maintain lots for the new, used, and service departments.
• Help Sales and Service staff move vehicles to support efficient dealership operations.
• Ensure vehicles are clean.
• Add and maintain key tags and window stickers on lot vehicles.
• Drive vehicles to other dealerships for dealer swaps or to vendors as requested.
• Pick up or deliver customers using dealership vehicles when requested.
