About The Position

Bud Clary Auto Group is hiring a Lot Attendant for its Auburn CDJR team. Lot attendants support the Service departments by maintaining vehicles to dealership standards. They keep automobile inventory neat and well maintained, and move vehicles to specified locations throughout the lot. The position also includes vehicle inspection, preparation, cleaning, and general lot upkeep. Driving is an essential function; employees must have a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record under company insurance standards.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license.
Acceptable driving record consistent with company insurance standards throughout employment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Inspect vehicles for damage and verify accessories listed on invoices.
Record vehicle damage and list missing items on delivery receipts.
Park new vehicles in assigned areas.
Catalog and store keys.
Move sold vehicles to maximize space and keep the lot orderly.
Deliver sold vehicles to the new-vehicle preparation department.
Wash vehicle exteriors using appropriate cleaning solutions and equipment.
Vacuum vehicle interiors, removing dirt and debris while taking care not to disturb customers’ personal items.
Park clean vehicles in the designated delivery area.
Maintain the dealership’s appearance by cleaning around the lot and picking up garbage.
Prepare new vehicles for PDI.
Fuel sold vehicles, trade-ins, and other vehicles as needed.
Work as a team player and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Drive as an essential function of the position and maintain an acceptable driving record.
