About The Position

PIRTEK is hiring a Service Dispatcher at one of its Atlanta locations. The position supports on-site hydraulic and industrial hose service operations by capturing and accurately posting incoming service call information, contacting customers to confirm details and assess repair urgency, and dispatching mobile technicians accordingly. The dispatcher works with customer service staff to establish ETA expectations and with mobile technicians to monitor progress and provide support. The role also involves reviewing completed work orders, following up with customers, and managing vehicle fleet maintenance to help ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate is friendly, approachable, upbeat, organized, comfortable using computers, and effective in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The franchise is independently owned and operated, and hiring decisions are made by the franchisee.

Requirements

Excellent communication skills.
Strong organizational and computer skills.
High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

Some exposure to construction equipment is preferred.
Fluency in Spanish is desired but not required.

Responsibilities

Use a friendly, hospitable tone when communicating with customers.
Work closely with the customer service team to set appropriate ETA expectations.
Efficiently dispatch technicians to cover daily emergency hose service work.
Provide in-office support to the mobile technician team and evaluate technician progress.
Capture and accurately post incoming service call information.
Contact customers to validate service call information and assess repair urgency.
Review completed work orders in detail and follow up with customers.
Execute the vehicle maintenance program to minimize fleet downtime.
