About The Position

PIRTEK is hiring a Service Dispatcher at one of its Atlanta locations. The role supports on-site hydraulic and industrial hose service work in a fast-paced environment, working closely with the customer service team and mobile technicians to provide customer service and coordinate daily emergency service calls. The Service Dispatcher captures and accurately posts incoming service call information, contacts customers to validate details and assess repair urgency, and makes dispatching decisions. The role also monitors technician progress, provides in-office support, reviews completed work orders, follows up with customers, and manages vehicle fleet maintenance.

Requirements

Excellent communication skills.
Strong organizational and computer skills.
High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

Some exposure to construction equipment is preferred.
Fluency in Spanish is desired but not required.

Responsibilities

Present a friendly, hospitable tone in communication with customers.
Work closely with the customer service team to properly set ETA expectations.
Efficiently dispatch technicians to cover daily emergency hose service work.
Provide in-office support to the mobile technician team.
Execute the vehicle maintenance program to minimize fleet downtime.
Capture and accurately post incoming service call information.
Contact customers to validate service call information and assess repair urgency.
Make dispatching decisions based on service needs and urgency.
Evaluate mobile technicians’ progress and provide needed support.
Review completed work orders in detail and follow up with customers.
Manage vehicle fleet maintenance.
