About The Position

Service Advisor Matt Bowers Chevy Metairie is committed to delivering top-tier automotive service and creating an exceptional experience for every customer. We’re looking for friendly, organized, and customer-focused Service Advisors to join our growing team. The Service Advisor is responsible for serving as the communication link between customers and the service department. This role ensures every guest receives clear information, accurate estimates, and exceptional support throughout their service experience. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous Service Advisor or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic understanding of automotive maintenance helpful but not required
  • Professional, customer-first attitude
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and understand their service needs
  • Create repair orders and communicate recommended maintenance and repairs
  • Provide clear, accurate estimates and obtain customer authorization
  • Coordinate with Technicians to ensure timely and efficient service
  • Maintain regular communication with customers on repair status
  • Review completed work and explain services performed
  • Maintain accurate records and update customer information
  • Support a clean, organized, and customer-friendly service environment
  • Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented department
