About The Position

As a Service Advisor at AutoNation Honda Lewisville, you’ll work in the service department as the go-between for Service Technicians and customers. You’ll take an active role in the service lane, explain technicians’ recommendations in easy-to-understand language, and suggest appropriate upsell opportunities to help keep customers’ vehicles safe. You’ll use communication skills, automotive knowledge, and technology to support a strong service experience and build customer loyalty.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Prior sales experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm, and prepare for customer appointments.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and customer satisfaction index targets.
• Greet customers when they arrive.
• Determine vehicle needs using customer information, walk-arounds, inspections, and test drives.
• Use a consultative selling process to help customers plan ongoing required vehicle maintenance.
• Prepare customer repair orders with cost and time estimates, providing full transparency.
• Communicate with technicians and parts associates to support timely completion of work.
• Update customers on vehicle status according to their preferred method of communication.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Develop product knowledge to help customers effectively.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
