Server - The Circular (AM)
About The Position
The Server at The Circular is responsible for providing professional guest service and must be knowledgeable about food, food-related items, and beverages, including beer, wine, cocktails, and cordials. The role involves working collaboratively with the team and maintaining communication with guests and the kitchen to support guest satisfaction. This is a part-time, year-round, first-shift union position. Scheduling may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs and union seniority. Team members must be available for at least 16 hours per week and meet scheduled requirements, which will most likely include evening and weekend hours.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have verifiable work experience as a server.
- Must present a clean, orderly, and professional appearance.
- Must practice good hygiene and set an example for others in accordance with The Hotel Hershey standards.
- Must be able to work at least 16 hours per week.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work and stand for long periods.
- Must be able to work under pressure and competently handle the designated table section.
- Must be able to work flexible hours based on operational needs.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to meet scheduled requirements, which will most likely require evening and weekend hours.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team in an efficient, professional, and guest-focused manner.
- Maintain constant communication with guests and the kitchen to support guest satisfaction.
- Take and present orders.
- Keep guest tables clean and orderly, including clearing and resetting tables as needed.
- Complete side work in a clean and orderly manner.
