About The Position

The AM Server prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including Starbucks beverages, for bar and restaurant patrons. The role involves interacting with customers, taking orders, serving meals and drinks, assessing customer needs and preferences, and making recommendations. The position is part-time, day shift, at Courtyard by Marriott in Box Elder, South Dakota.

Requirements

• Resume and proven working experience as a bartender.
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
• Computer literacy.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean.
• Relevant training certificate.
• Must be 21 years or older.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of a second language.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcoholic, non-alcoholic, and Starbucks beverages for bar and restaurant patrons.
• Interact with customers, take orders, and serve meals and drinks.
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
• Mix ingredients to prepare drinks.
• Present the menu.
• Check customers’ identification and confirm they meet the legal drinking age.
• Restock and replenish bar and Starbucks inventory and supplies.
• Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
• Keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean.
