About The Position

As a Server at Stone Creek, you help ensure a positive dining experience by providing exceptional customer service, accurately taking orders, serving food and beverages promptly, and maintaining a clean, organized dining area. You contribute to the success of the restaurant through a friendly, attentive demeanor and by working effectively with other team members. The role includes welcoming guests, explaining menu offerings, managing orders through the restaurant's POS system, coordinating dietary needs with the kitchen, serving food and beverages to presentation standards, and performing tableside tasks. Servers monitor guest needs, promote specials and other offerings, maintain dining-area cleanliness, follow health and safety and alcohol-service policies, and process payments accurately. The position requires physical activity, including standing and walking for extended periods and lifting food and beverage trays. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and help them feel welcome.
Assist guests with menu selections and provide information about food and beverage offerings.
Provide prompt, courteous service and address guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests professionally.
Accurately take food and beverage orders, enter them into the POS system, and verify their accuracy before submitting them to the kitchen.
Coordinate special requests and dietary restrictions with kitchen staff.
Serve food and beverages promptly and according to presentation standards.
Perform tableside tasks, including wine presentations, bread and oil service, and water service.
Promote wine pairings, specialty cocktails, desserts, daily specials, and other items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
Monitor guest needs, refill drinks, clear plates, and provide requested items, condiments, and accompaniments.
Set up and clean tables and keep the dining area clean, maintained, and stocked with utensils, napkins, and condiments.
Assist with general restaurant cleaning, including dishwashing, as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to support smooth restaurant operations.
Communicate guest feedback and special requests to appropriate team members.
Follow health and safety guidelines, including food safety regulations, and company policies for alcohol service and guest conduct.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
