About The Position

As a Server at Stone Creek Montgomery, you help provide guests with a positive dining experience through exceptional customer service, accurate order-taking, prompt food and beverage service, and a clean, organized dining area. The role includes helping guests select menu items, responding to questions and requests, and contributing to smooth restaurant operations through teamwork and communication. Servers use the restaurant’s point-of-sale system, coordinate special requests and dietary restrictions with kitchen staff, and serve food and beverages according to presentation standards. They may perform tableside tasks, promote additional menu items, and assist with cleaning and stocking the dining area. The position requires following health and safety guidelines, company policies, and procedures for alcohol service and handling payments. Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and help them feel welcome.
Assist guests with menu selections and provide information about food and beverage offerings.
Provide prompt, courteous service and professionally address guest questions, concerns, and special requests.
Accurately take food and beverage orders, enter them into the restaurant’s POS system, and check them for accuracy before submission.
Coordinate special requests and dietary restrictions with kitchen staff.
Serve food and beverages promptly and according to presentation standards.
Perform tableside tasks, including wine presentations, bread and oil service, and water service.
Promote wine pairings, specialty cocktails, desserts, daily specials, and other items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
Monitor guest needs, refill drinks, clear plates, and provide requested items, condiments, and accompaniments.
Set up and clean tables and keep the dining area clean, maintained, and stocked with utensils, napkins, and condiments.
Assist with dishwashing and other cleaning tasks as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to support efficient restaurant operations.
Communicate guest feedback and special requests to appropriate team members.
Follow health and safety guidelines, including food safety regulations, and company policies regarding alcohol service and guest conduct.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
