About The Position

As a Server at Stone Creek, you help ensure a positive dining experience by providing exceptional customer service, accurately taking orders, promptly serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean, organized dining area. A friendly and attentive demeanor contributes to the restaurant’s success. The role includes assisting guests with menu selections, coordinating requests with the kitchen, carrying out tableside service, monitoring guests’ needs, and promoting specials and other menu items. Servers work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to support smooth restaurant operations and follow applicable health, safety, alcohol-service, and transaction-handling procedures.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and make them feel welcome.
Help guests select menu items and provide information about food and beverages.
Provide prompt, courteous service and respond professionally to guest questions, concerns, and special requests.
Accurately take food and beverage orders, enter them into the POS system, and check them for accuracy before submitting them to the kitchen.
Coordinate special requests and dietary restrictions with kitchen staff.
Serve food and beverages promptly and according to presentation standards.
Perform tableside tasks such as wine presentations, bread and oil service, and water service.
Promote wine pairings, specialty cocktails, desserts, daily specials, beverages, and other items or upgrades.
Monitor guest needs by refilling drinks, clearing plates, and providing requested items, condiments, and accompaniments.
Set up and clean tables and keep the dining area clean, maintained, and stocked.
Assist with dishwashing and other cleaning tasks as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers, and communicate guest feedback and requests to relevant team members.
Follow health and safety guidelines, including food safety regulations, and company policies for alcohol service and guest conduct.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
