About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Server at Vitalia Montrose in Copley, Ohio. The role is scheduled Fridays and Mondays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with pay of $15 to $21.25 per hour. Servers welcome residents and help create a friendly dining-room atmosphere, prepare for meal service, keep the dining area clean, and communicate observations about residents’ eating habits and attendance to supervisors and Wellness staff.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
Must have a positive, energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Greet residents, make them feel welcome, and be present and sociable in the dining room to encourage connection.
Prepare for meal service by setting tables, preparing salads for upcoming meals, and rolling silverware.
Bus tables and sweep floors to keep the community dining area clean.
Notify supervisors and Wellness staff when residents show poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite, or are absent from meals.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist people after a fall.
