About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Server at Vitalia Stow in Stow, Ohio. The role is scheduled Mondays, Tuesdays, and Sundays from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Pay is $15 to $21.25 per hour. Servers welcome residents and help create a friendly dining-room atmosphere where residents can connect. They prepare tables and food items for service, maintain clean dining areas, and report concerns about residents’ eating habits, appetite changes, or absences from meals to supervisors and Wellness staff.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Must read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency with residents.
Must have a positive, energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
Must be active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Greet residents, make them feel welcome, remain present in the dining room, mingle and entertain, and foster an environment where residents can connect.
Prepare for meal service by setting tables, preparing salads for upcoming meals, and rolling silverware.
Bus tables and sweep floors to maintain a clean community dining area.
Communicate with supervisors and Wellness staff about poor dietary habits, unusual appetite changes, and residents absent from meals.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
