About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Server at Hudson Grande in Hudson, Ohio. The role works Saturday and Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and pays $15 to $21.25 per hour. Servers welcome residents, remain present in the dining room, help create opportunities for residents to connect, prepare dining areas and food service items, and maintain cleanliness. They also communicate with supervisors and Wellness staff about poor dietary habits, unusual appetite changes, or residents who are absent from meals.

Requirements

Be at least 16 years of age.
Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
Have a positive and energetic attitude and a desire to work with residents.
Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
Obtain criminal clearance.

Responsibilities

Greet residents and help them feel welcome.
Be present in the dining room, mingle, entertain, and foster an environment where residents can connect.
Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, and silverware.
Bus tables and sweep floors.
Notify supervisors and Wellness staff about poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, or residents who are absent from meals.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
