About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Server at Vitalia Westlake in Westlake, Ohio. The role is scheduled Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., with pay of $15 to $23.25 per hour. Servers welcome residents and help create a comfortable, social dining atmosphere. They prepare for meal service, keep dining areas clean, and communicate observations about residents’ eating habits or meal attendance to supervisors and Wellness staff.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age.
Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency with residents.
Must have a positive, energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Greet residents, help them feel welcome, and be present and sociable in the dining room to foster resident connections.
Prepare for meal service by setting tables, preparing salads, and rolling silverware.
Bus tables and sweep floors to maintain clean dining areas.
Notify supervisors and Wellness staff when residents show poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite, or are absent from meals.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
