About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Server at Vitalia N Olmsted in North Olmsted, Ohio. The role supports residents’ dining experience by welcoming and engaging residents, helping prepare for meal service, maintaining clean dining areas, and communicating observations about residents’ eating habits and attendance to supervisors and Wellness. The scheduled shifts are Wednesday through Saturday, 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Pay is $15 to $23.25 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age.
Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency with residents.
Must have a positive, energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
Must be active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Greet residents, help them feel welcome, remain present in the dining room, mingle and entertain, and foster an environment where residents can connect.
Prepare for meal service by setting tables, preparing salads for upcoming meals, and rolling silverware.
Bus tables and sweep floors to maintain a clean community dining area.
Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual appetite changes are observed, or when residents are absent from meals.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
