About The Position

The Server welcomes residents and helps create a friendly, engaging dining-room environment where residents can connect. The role supports meal service by preparing tables and food items, rolling silverware, bussing tables, and sweeping floors. Servers also communicate with supervisors and Wellness staff when residents show poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite, or are absent from meals. This part-time position is at Ridgemere in Conway, Arkansas. The schedule is Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Pay is $15–$19.50 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age.
Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency with residents.
Must have a positive, energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
Must be active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Greet residents, make them feel welcome, and be present and engaging in the dining room.
Prepare tables and meal-service items, including salads and rolled silverware.
Bus tables and sweep floors to maintain a tidy community dining environment.
Communicate with supervisors and Wellness staff about poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, and residents absent from meals.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
