About The Position

The Server welcomes residents and helps create a friendly, engaging dining-room environment where residents can connect. The role includes preparing tables and food-service items, keeping the dining area clean, and observing and communicating changes in residents’ appetites or attendance at meals. The position is part-time at Ridgemere in Conway, Arkansas, with a schedule of Monday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Pay is $15–$19.50 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of eighth-grade proficiency.
Must have a positive, energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Greet residents, help them feel welcome, remain present in the dining room, and encourage an environment where residents can connect.
Prepare tables and service items, including salads for upcoming meals and rolled silverware.
Bus tables and sweep floors to maintain a clean dining area.
Notify supervisors and Wellness when residents show poor dietary habits, unusual appetite changes, or are absent from meals.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
