About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at University Living in Ann Arbor, MI. This part-time position involves greeting residents, preparing tables and dining areas, maintaining cleanliness, and observing residents' dietary habits. The role emphasizes fostering a welcoming environment and ensuring a positive dining experience for residents.

Requirements

At least sixteen (16) years of age.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain residents.
Foster an environment where residents can connect.
Prepare tables for service, salads, and roll silverware.
Bus tables and sweep floors.
Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding dietary habits, changes in appetite, or resident absences from meals.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
Assist persons after a fall.
