Server 4pm-7:30pm $15-21.25 (Part Time)
About The Position
The Server welcomes residents and helps create a friendly, engaging dining-room environment. The role includes greeting residents, being present and social in the dining room, and helping residents connect. Servers prepare tables and food items for service, roll silverware, bus tables, and sweep floors. They also communicate with supervisors and Wellness when they observe poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, or residents missing meals. The position is part-time at Vitalia Montrose in Copley, Ohio, with a schedule of Wednesday through Saturday, 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Pay is $15 to $21.25 per hour.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
- Must have a positive and energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.

- Inform supervisors and Wellness about poor dietary habits, unusual appetite changes, or residents absent from meals.
