Server 7am-3pm $15-22.75 (Part Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Server at Boulevard Wentzville in Wentzville, Missouri. The role is scheduled Fridays and Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with pay of $15 to $22.75 per hour. Servers welcome residents, remain present in the dining room, help create opportunities for residents to connect, and prepare for meal service by setting tables, preparing salads, and rolling silverware. They also bus tables and sweep floors to keep the community tidy. Servers communicate with supervisors and Wellness staff when they observe poor dietary habits, unusual appetite changes, or residents missing meals.
Requirements
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
- Have a positive, energetic attitude and a willingness to work with residents.
- Be active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
- Frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents, make them feel welcome, and be present in the dining room.
- Mingle and entertain residents and foster an environment where they can connect.
- Prepare for meal service by setting tables, preparing salads, and rolling silverware.
- Bus tables and sweep floors to maintain a clean community.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness staff about poor dietary habits, unusual appetite changes, or residents absent from meals.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
