About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Server at Boulevard St Peters in Saint Peters, Missouri. The position is scheduled Friday and Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with pay of $15 to $22.75 per hour. The Server welcomes residents and helps create a warm, social dining environment. The role includes preparing tables and food-service items, bussing tables and keeping dining areas tidy, and observing residents’ eating habits. Servers communicate with supervisors and Wellness when residents show poor dietary habits, unusual appetite changes, or are absent from meals. The position also requires assisting residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assisting people after a fall. Requirements
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
- Have a positive, energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
- Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
- Frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
- Obtain criminal clearance.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents, make them feel welcome, and be present in the dining room to mingle, entertain, and foster connection.
- Prepare tables and service items, including salads and rolled silverware, in advance of meal service.
- Bus tables and keep the dining area tidy, including sweeping floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness about poor dietary habits, unusual appetite changes, or residents absent from meals.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
