About The Position

The Server works at Boulevard St Peters in Saint Peters, Missouri, welcoming residents and helping create a social, comfortable dining experience. The role includes being present in the dining room, preparing for meal service, maintaining cleanliness, and communicating observations about residents’ eating habits and attendance to supervisors and Wellness staff.

This is a part-time position scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Pay is $15 to $22.75 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
• Must have a positive, energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, make them feel welcome, and foster opportunities for residents to connect in the dining room.
• Prepare tables, salads, and silverware for meal service.
• Bus tables and sweep floors to maintain a clean community dining area.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness staff when poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, or absences from meals are observed.
• Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
