About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Server at Boulevard St Peters in Saint Peters, Missouri. The Server welcomes residents, helps create a friendly and social dining-room atmosphere, prepares tables and food items for service, and keeps dining areas clean. The role also includes observing residents’ dining habits and communicating concerns or absences from meals to supervisors and Wellness staff.

Requirements

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
• Have a positive and energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
• Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
• Frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
• Receive criminal clearance.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and help them feel welcome.
• Be present in the dining room, mingle with residents, entertain, and foster an environment where residents can connect.
• Prepare tables and salads for service and roll silverware.
• Bus tables and sweep floors.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness staff when poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, or absences from meals are observed.
