About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Server at Boulevard St Peters in Saint Peters, Missouri. The scheduled shifts are Monday and Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The pay range is $15 to $22.75 per hour. The Server welcomes residents and helps create a friendly dining-room atmosphere where residents can connect. The role includes preparing tables and dining items, assisting with meal service, bussing tables, and keeping the dining area clean. Servers also communicate with supervisors and Wellness staff about residents’ poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, or absences from meals. Candidates must be at least 16 years old, communicate in English at a minimum of eighth-grade proficiency, maintain a positive and energetic attitude, and meet the role’s physical requirements. Criminal clearance is required.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of eighth-grade proficiency.
- Must have a positive and energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and help them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, entertain, and foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables, salads for upcoming meals, and silverware for service.
- Bus tables and sweep floors to help maintain a clean community.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness staff when poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, or resident absences from meals are observed.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
