About The Position

Serves meals to patrons in a dining establishment by performing various duties. This role requires excellent customer service skills, prompt attention to guest needs, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, settling checks, and maintaining the dining area.

Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, use hands, fingers, handle, or feel.
Ability to reach with hands and arms.
Ability to talk or hear and taste or smell.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Ability to work in outside weather conditions.
Ability to work in a moderately noisy environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Agilysys Coffee/Tea/Espresso/Soda machines.
Experience with Juice/Milk/Cream/Butter refrigerators.
Experience with Glass/Dish/Flatware.

Responsibilities

Acknowledge guests within 90 seconds of seating.
Present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and service.
Take orders promptly and relay them to the kitchen and service bars.
Serve courses using correct service procedures.
Observe diners to attend to additional requests and determine when meals are completed.
Settle guest checks and turn in all checks with a report at the end of the shift.
Set up the dining room with clean and polished equipment.
Maintain a presentable and fully stocked section throughout the dining period.
Complete all closing duties, including proper breakdown of the dining room.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Manager.
