About The Position

The Pool Server works at Pearl Beach, a poolside dining destination at The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour, Miami, serving food and beverages while creating memorable guest experiences through attentive, personalized hospitality. The role supports a guest-ready dining environment, coordinates with the kitchen and service team, and upholds established standards for cleanliness, organization, presentation, safety, and service.

Requirements

• Take initiative and use good judgment to anticipate guest needs and resolve service needs in the moment.
• Follow company policies, procedures, safety practices, and established quality standards.
• Maintain a polished, professional appearance and demonstrate elevated communication and service standards.
• Work collaboratively across the restaurant team to deliver consistent, efficient service.
• Be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, including moving across sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
• Be able to read and visually verify menus, service information, and other work-related information.
• Be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and 50 pounds with assistance.
• Be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Set and maintain tables and service areas to create an inviting, guest-ready environment.
• Serve food and beverages while engaging with guests, anticipating their needs, and providing attentive, personalized service.
• Communicate and coordinate with the kitchen and service team to ensure accurate and timely service.
• Maintain work areas, equipment, and supplies according to cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards.
• Complete additional duties as needed to support guests, the team, and the overall operation.
