About The Position

The Pool Server provides friendly, attentive service to guests in a high-volume outdoor pool environment. This is a tipped position involving setup and opening duties, taking food and drink orders across the pool deck, coordinating with bartenders, and assisting with closing duties. The role requires working in heat and being able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to work in heat during shifts.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Excellent guest service and oral communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. and carry up to 75 lbs.
Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

Greet guests arriving at the pool in a professional, friendly, and engaging manner.
Provide attentive, efficient, and friendly service according to standard operating procedures.
Assist with opening pool bar duties.
Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests.
Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
Open, set up, and organize the Cascades dining area.
Walk the pool deck during service to take food and drink orders.
Maintain working knowledge of the bar menu, drinks, garnishes, and preparation methods.
Clean tables and rest as needed.
Work closely with bartenders to provide a quality guest experience.
Assist with closing shift duties.
