About The Position

Mr. C Coconut Grove is hiring a pool attendant to assist guests with their needs and provide attentive, friendly service. The role supports guests with towels, seating equipment, and other requests, while maintaining the cleanliness and organization of supplies, equipment, and work areas and promoting guest safety and enjoyment. The goal is to provide high-quality service that helps retain and attract customers.

The position works in an outdoor environment and requires the ability to transport equipment and supplies and to move extensively throughout work areas. Employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance in accordance with Cipriani standards. Duties may include additional functions assigned by supervisors. Requirements

• Previous work experience as a Pool/Beach Attendant.
• Ability to understand guests’ service needs.
• Ability to focus attention on details.
• Ability to perform job functions outdoors with exposure to sun, high temperatures, wind, and rain.
• Ability to exert physical effort to transport and handle equipment and supplies.
• Ability to endure abundant physical movement throughout work areas.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Availability to work shifts and flexible schedules, including weekends and evenings.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance according to Cipriani standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous, and efficient service to all guests, including making eye contact, smiling, and maintaining proper posture.
• Listen and respond to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu and suggest dishes according to guests’ preferences.
• Safely transport hot and liquid items to and from bar and kitchen areas.
• Anticipate and serve guests’ needs before they make requests.
• Follow time-and-attendance and uniform procedures.
• Assess guest satisfaction, address problems that arise, and inform a Manager of the problem and its resolution.
• Assist guests with towels, seating equipment, and requests courteously and efficiently according to hotel standards.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of supplies, equipment, and work areas, and help ensure guest safety and enjoyment.
