About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Server at Vitalia Montrose in Copley, Ohio. The role focuses on welcoming residents, supporting meal service, keeping the dining area clean, and observing and communicating changes in residents’ eating habits or attendance. The scheduled shifts are Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Pay is $15–$21.25 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 16 years old.
Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
Have a positive, energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Greet residents and help them feel welcome in the dining room.
Be present in the dining room, mingle with residents, entertain, and foster opportunities for residents to connect.
Prepare tables and assist with meal preparation, including preparing salads and rolling silverware.
Bus tables and sweep floors to keep the dining area clean.
Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when residents show poor dietary habits, unusual appetite changes, or are absent from meals.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
