About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Server at Vitalia N Olmsted in North Olmsted, Ohio. The role is scheduled Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Pay is $15 to $23.25 per hour. Servers welcome residents and help create a warm, social dining-room environment. They prepare tables and service items, assist with meal-service preparation, bus tables, and keep the dining area tidy. They also communicate with supervisors and Wellness staff if they notice poor dietary habits, unusual appetite changes, or residents missing meals.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
Must have a positive and energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Greet residents, help them feel welcome, and be present and engaging in the dining room.
Help foster an environment where residents can connect, including mingling and entertaining residents.
Prepare tables, salads, silverware, and other items for meal service.
Bus tables and sweep floors to maintain a clean dining area.
Inform supervisors and Wellness staff about poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, or residents absent from meals.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
