About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Server at Vitalia Montrose in Copley, Ohio. The role is scheduled Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., with pay of $15 to $21.25 per hour. Servers help create a welcoming dining experience for residents by greeting and engaging with them, preparing for meal service, maintaining dining areas, and communicating observations about residents’ eating habits and attendance to supervisors and Wellness.

Requirements

Be at least 16 years of age.
Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
Have a positive, energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Greet residents, help them feel welcome, and foster connections in the dining room by being present, mingling, and entertaining.
Prepare for meal service by setting tables, preparing salads for upcoming meals, and rolling silverware.
Bus tables and sweep floors to keep the dining area clean and presentable.
Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when residents show poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite, or are absent from meals.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
