About The Position

The Server works in the community restaurant to create a welcoming dining experience for residents, build relationships, and provide service consistent with what guests would expect in a favorite restaurant. The role has a part-time, varied schedule and includes taking residents to their tables, presenting menus, helping with food and drink selections, communicating orders through a point-of-sale system, and completing established dining room opening and closing duties.

Requirements

• A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for residents.
• If under 18, provide proper schoolwork authorization, if applicable.
• Currently hold a Food Handler’s Card or be willing to obtain one facilitated by Spectrum, as required by state and/or county regulations.
• Strong customer service presentation.

Responsibilities

• Direct residents to their tables, present menus, suggest dishes, and assist with drink selection.
• Communicate specific resident orders using the point-of-sale system.
• Complete community-established dining room opening and closing duties.
